What is a trial period?
As a new Calendly user, you will receive a free 14-day trial of the Teams subscription once your new account is created. During the 14-day trial period, you will have access to all Teams features. At the end of the 14-day trial period, the account will automatically roll over to our free Basic subscription.
How to know your trial period is ending
As an account owner, you will receive an email notification from Calendly one day before the trial period ends.
If you’d like to upgrade your account during your Teams trial, you can do so directly from your Billing Page. You can also check the date your trial will end.
To access the Billing Page, select Account on your Calendly Home page then, select Billing.

Features available after the trial
At the end of the 14-day free trial, your account will be automatically rolled over to the Basic subscription.
The Basic subscription is always free, and there will be no charge applied at the end of the trial period.
With the Basic subscription, you can access:
- One active event type
- One calendar connection
- Default event notifications
- Customizable account logo and avatar
- Video conferencing integrations
Existing event types and scheduled events
Previously scheduled events will not be impacted by the end of the trial. All bookings made during the trial period will remain active and visible on the Scheduled Events page.
Once the account is rolled over to the Basic subscription, only one event type will remain active for booking. Any additional event types you have created will still be visible, but the event types will be turned off and will not be available for booking.
Both active and inactive event types can be seen in the Event Type section on your Home page. Event types that have been turned off will appear gray.
