Tracking Google Analytics in your Calendly embed

Google Analytics and the embed

To track actions in the Calendly embed, you can integrate with Google Analytics.

Google Analytics uses a combination of cookies stored in an invitee's browser, as well as Javascript, to gather information for tracking. For the Google Analytics tracking code to work, Javascript must be enabled in your invitees' browsers. Your invitees' browser and security settings may limit what information is tracked.

Invitees in the European Union

If any of your invitees are located in the European Union (EU), they will see a banner in the embed, with the options to either accept or reject cookies. If they reject cookies, their activity will not be tracked.

Because of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), anyone visiting your scheduling page from the EU must accept the cookie banner before conversions can be tracked to Google Analytics. To learn more, please read our Cookies FAQ and GDPR FAQ.
