If you use Mailchimp, the marketing automation tool, you can send information about your Calendly invitees to Mailchimp.
For each event type, automatically add invitees to a Mailchimp audience. Associate one or more tags with the event's invitees, then use that information to automate tasks such as sending followup emails and other activities.
Important note about GDPR
Please ensure that your invitees grant consent to receive emails from you before you add them to a Mailchimp audience. Once your invitees opt-in, we add them to Mailchimp audiences as subscribers.
If your invitees are in General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) countries, we add them to Mailchimp as "transactional contacts" (who only receive messages about orders, shipments, test messages, etc.) and ask them to opt-in to future emails.

Troubleshooting tips
- If you try to sync a Calendly contact with one in Mailchimp that was unsubscribed in your email marketing, you can ask Mailchimp to resubscribe the contact. For more information, see Mailchimp's Resubscribe a Contact article.
- If your contact wasn't added in Mailchimp, Mailchimp may not have treated the contact's email as a valid email. For more information, see Mailchimp's About Fake Signups article.
- If you use merge tags to insert contacts into Mailchimp campaigns and the tags aren't being replaced with the right content, make sure your tags are properly mapped. Calendly doesn't validate merge fields. For more information, see Mailchimp's Troubleshooting Merge Tags article.
