I'm free when I should be unavailable
Calendly determines when you're free by checking for "busy" events in your connected calendar.
- Google Calendar - By default, Google sets all-day and multi-day events to "available," meaning Calendly won't realize you're busy during these times. You'll need to manually set all-day/multi-day events to "busy" when creating them.
- Outlook Calendar - By default, Calendly makes you available during "Out of Office/Away" and "Working Elsewhere" events. You can change this setting on your Calendar Connection page.
Changing an event from from "available" to "busy" will prevent new meetings during this time.
If you're using Outlook and would rather be unavailable during all "Out of Office/Away" or "Working Elsewhere" events, you can set this up on your Calendar Connection page:
On the other hand, if Calendly shows you as unavailable when you should be free, you can use Availability Diagnostic Mode to see why each of your unavailable time slots are blocked.
