Getting Started: Outlook Plug-in users
You can connect your Outlook.com account by logging in and visiting your calendar connection page. Whether you use the web version of Outlook on a Mac or PC, this will be the most seamless set-up experience.
If you do not have access to Outlook.com, feel free to install our Outlook desktop plug-in for PC users by following the steps below.
There are four main steps to setting up your account:
- Install the Calendly plug-in
- Configure your event types (the types of meetings, appointments, etc. people schedule with you) and availability
- Customize your Calendly page (the page invitees visit to schedule with you)
- Share your Calendly link with others (it looks something like calendly.com/[your-name-here])
1. Install the Calendly plug-in
Visit your Calendar Connection page.
Connect to the Outlook Plug In.
Download the Plug In.
Install the Plug In.
You may need to allow permission for the Plug In to install.
Close Outlook if it is open.
In the Settings box that appears, enter your plug-in key.
To get the Plug In key, go back to the Calendar Connection page and press "Next."
Copy and paste the Plug In key found here into the settings box.
Note: Calendly will publish all new events in the calendar marked with * .
Check which calendar to check for conflicts and press "Save."
Then press "sync now." Now that you've connected your calendar through the plug-in, it's time to set up your account and start getting meetings!
2. Configure your event types:
To minimize setup, we've created 15, 30 and 60 minute event types for you so that by default, your Calendly page looks like this:
Visit your Event Types page to customize these default event types, or to create new ones from scratch.

3. Customize your Calendly page.
Add your headshot or logo and personalize your welcome message from Account Settings:
4. Share your Calendly link.
Add your link to your workflow to simplify scheduling! Include it in your email signature, embed Calendly on your site, or share it anywhere else others typically need to schedule with you. For inspiration, see how fellow Calendly users share their links.
