How to reconfirm booked events with a text message

  1. From your Home page, select Workflows. Review the pre-built workflows on the page and select Use workflow on the one you want to use.
    Note: You can also select Create your own workflow and customize the workflow as desired.

    At Workflow Name, enter a name for the workflow.

  2. At Which event types will this apply to, select each event type that you want to use this workflow, then select Apply. 

  3. In the Do this section, select Edit then customize the message as desired.

    Note: Leave the Confirmation Link variable within the body of the email. If you are creating your own reconfirmation text workflow, you’ll need to add the Confirmation Link variable. Removing it will prevent the text message from including the link that invitees use to reconfirm the booked event.

  4. To add information from your event type or information about your invitees to the message automatically, click on the Variables button. Then choose an item from the list and Calendly will replace them with actual values from your event or invitees.

    • Repeat this step to add additional variables if desired.

  5. To add more actions, click Add action, repeat steps 3 and 4, then select Next.

  6. Select Done, then Save.
